Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical equipment, including motors, encoders, PLCs, and 480v, 3 phase power systems.
2. Performing lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures as required.
3. Programming PLCs using Ladder Logic and other programming languages.
4. Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5. Wiring motor starters and other electrical components.
6. Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
7. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards, including Arc Flash safety procedures.
8. Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment.
9. Using various power tools to perform tasks as necessary.
10. Collaborating with other team members to improve processes and ensure smooth operation of manufacturing systems.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing setting.
2. Proven experience with industrial electrical systems, PLC programming, LOTO procedures, and electrical troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency with power tools and electrical equipment.
4. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and motor starter wiring.
5. Familiarity with Ladder Logic, conduit, encoders, and motors.
6. Experience working with 480v, 3 phase power systems.
7. Understanding of Arc Flash safety procedures.
